Looking to Sell?

Are you downsizing and are considering rehoming your treasures to us?

Please read this information!

  • Purchases are by appointment only.  Walk-ins may not be considered. No purchasing will be done on the weekends.

  • We have both sale and consignment options available.

  • We are not accepting dolls, china, or sewing machines.

  • Please be prepared with general information about the pieces, i.e. age, maker, etc., as well as a general price you'd like to receive.

  • Have your items prepared for sale or have quality photographs of the items ready.

  • Please keep in mind that we are a vendor mall, and 3/4 of our shop space is occupied by vendors. This drastically limits what we are able to purchase. We are not currently available to handle full estates.

How To Research and Value Your Items

When an expert or professional appraiser is not available to you, the internet can be extremely useful in researching and valuing your antique and vintage items. To identify a piece, we often use Google Lens, which is essentially an image search engine. The website Worthpoint is a great resource for identifying and valuing pieces, although it does require a subscription. Replacements.com is also a great free resource for identifying and valuing glassware and china.

Once you uncover what your items are, you can then go on to price them. When pricing your antique and vintage items, please keep in mind that you are looking at resell prices, not retail prices. Resell prices are what sellers can charge, while retail prices are what the shops can charge. Shops have to be able to make a profit on the item (however small), and are not able to purchase items from sellers at retail prices. Once you discover the value of the item, you can then go on to research how much that item or similar items have sold for. Ebay is a fabulous free resource for this, just remember to filter your search results to "sold for" for accurate resell prices.
